Frustration with yarns

So I've been using LionBrand's MicroSpun for my shawl... since I am a beginner I follow the patterns that they provide along with the yarn that calls for it... I have to say...each time I think I've gone through a hurdle with this project... another one pops up...

Yesterday I'm making progress on my Shawl when I go to pull more yarn out from the middle and what happens to come out ... Oh joy! Another clustered knotted mess of yarn ... After trying for nearly an hour to work it out I finally break down and pull out the scissors... Snip Friggin Snip...

Makers of LionBrand Yarn... Could you find it in your hearts to make your Yarn LESS Knot prone!!

The Afghan that took 1000 nights

LOL Its a joke really... Although I'm almost certain it will take about 1/4 of that time to complete this project ... I honestly can't remember when I started this afghan... I think it was sometime in early February... I really got full throttle during St. Patrick's Day, at any rate... I plowed through and have been stuck on my border for I don't know how long... simply because it just doesn't look right to me... *sigh* I'll get it knocked out soon... Here are some pictures of my progress...

Anywho... Tammy... finally.. here are my pictures of my afghan that I swear I'll finish before we need to start using them... :)

Easy Ripple Shawl

After many failed attempts and re-do's I have finally made it past the first set of 4 rows... This is such a HUGE accomplishment for me.... Tonight I hope to get up to at least 20 rows... Either way I will post a pic of my progress before I hit the sack tonight...

I have nothing to post yet, but I'll soon upload a photo of the scarf I've been working on for the Breast Cancer support deal...
